There are many Myths ... that are simply not true
Menstruating is unclean - false
Menstruation is a sign of health and normal development. Menstrual blood is the same as blood from anywhere else in the body and is usually sterile. You should always maintain good hygiene throughout your menstrual periods.
When you menstruate you should be secluded and should not let anyone know it is your menses - false
Nothing has to change from your regular routine (eg sports, cooking or chores). Using EVA products and proper hygiene, others may not be aware you are even menstruating.
Eating meat and sugar causes a heavier flow - false
Consumption of meat and sugar does not have this effect. To stay healthy it is important to eat well, even during menstruation.
